Laundry Aide

Job Description:

This position is accountable for the hand folding of clean linen and operating the flatwork ironers.

Job Essentials

• Under the direction of the designated Lead Person or the Production Supervisor, responsible for hand folding of clean linen.
• Responsible for safely operating the flatwork ironers.
• Responsible for complying with all health safety rules to minimize exposure (masks, impervious protective clothing and gloves).
• Responsible for washing hands before entering the clean area of the laundry.
  
  

Shift Details

• Shifts will mostly be 4pm - 8:30pm
• At least 1 weekend a month required
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring manual and physical labor
• Demonstrated ability to follow instructions
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate mutual respect to others

Lifting, Pulling/Pushing, Standing, Walking, Seeing
