Duties

As an Information Technology Specialist (Enterprise Architecture), you will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of TIGTA's enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap which directly supports TIGTA and other technical experts to have the ability to access and disseminate information securely.
  • Partner with the Assistant Director and other team members of the Governance & IT Portfolio section on identifying business needs for solutions and participating in discussions and activities regarding IT project funding, resourcing and prioritization while advocating for the business as it relates to programs and projects.
  • Conduct and lead efforts for broad and complex enterprise systems that support a wide range of functions, organizations, and processes. Work involves a wide range of IT management activities, which includes strategic planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, and information security management.
  • Develop and interpret policies, procedures, and strategies that govern the planning and delivery of services throughout TIGTA to establish the enterprise structural framework for the management of all IT programs; Make recommendations to management that would significantly influence new IT initiatives, implementation, and portfolio management of projects throughout TIGTA

Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience for the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:

- Formulating strategy, transforming and/or managing a program with manufacturing processes and/or information control Systems (ICS), AND
- Designing and implementing IT solutions in at least one of the following development disciplines: technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management or operations, AND
-Designing and implementing security infrastructures with manufacturing processes and/or information control Systems (ICS).


In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT (CONTINUED):
