Senior Director Quote to Cash

Overview

IDG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Quote-to-Cash to lead our sales operations and revenue generation processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end quote-to-cash process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in closing deals and optimizing revenue streams. The quote-to-cash process encompasses the steps involved in generating a sales quote, negotiating terms, closing deals, and ultimately receiving payment. 

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to define, rationalize and streamline the quote-to-cash process, from initial quote creation to revenue recognition.• Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure alignment in quote generation, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.• Implement best practices for contract management, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.• Form, lead and mentor a team of professionals involved in Order Management, Billing and Collections.• Analyze and optimize pricing models, discount structures, and contract terms to maximize revenue and profitability.• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the quote-to-cash process.• Identify opportunities for process automation and implement tools to enhance efficiency.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve the overall customer experience.• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quote-to-cash processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.• Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating success in optimizing quote-to-cash processes and driving revenue growth.• Strong leadership and team management skills.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.• In-depth knowledge of contract management, pricing strategies, and revenue recognition principles.• Familiarity with relevant software and tools for sales operations and revenue management.• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

This position will be located in our Needham, MA office with the a hybrid work schedule. Minimum of 2 days/week in the office.
