Responsibilities

- You are uncovering the best deals and products in various categories such as smartphones, gadgets, printers, smart home, and other lifestyle products. In doing so, you not only create deal news but also comprehensive buying guides, helpful tips, and concise product reviews. - You thoroughly research topics and craft articles that are not only informative but also visually appealing on our website. - You value collaboration and exchange within a creative, small national team with flat hierarchies. Additionally, it is important to you to maintain a strong connection with international B2C colleagues to benefit from the emerging advantages for all editorial teams. - Furthermore, you enjoy working and communicating with other departments outside of the editorial team to broaden your horizons. - You are familiar with SEO and optimize your articles for both readers and search engines. - Additionally, you support the New Media team with ideas and input in researching exciting topics on platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Qualifications

- You have a passion for technology and journalism. - You are eager to share your knowledge with a larger readership. - Ideally, you have already gained experience in an (online) editorial team and have several years of professional experience and/or have completed an apprenticeship. - You have a good sense for high-reach deals, news, topics, and products that truly interest our tech-savvy, decision-making, and curious target audience. - You master the German language like a pro and can consistently express yourself orthographically correct and stylistically appropriate in writing. - You have very good knowledge of the English language in both speaking and writing. - If you already have contacts in the tech industry, that is an additional bonus.
