Primary Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining student academic records at the district level under minimal supervision.
Track cohort and graduation student data through accurate data entry for transcripts (transfer credits,
Dual Credit and Plato courses) and other graduation PEIMS requirements such as but not limited to graduation types, FHSP participation, EOC scores, and endorsements.

Education/Certification:
High school or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records
Ability to use software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases and do word processing
Proficient keyboarding and file maintenance skills
Basic math skills
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
2-3 years of related experience preferred
Skyward knowledge preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence
1. Collect all data required to maintain systems supporting student transcripts such as county, district and campus codes, Plato credits, missing EOC scores and endorsements.
2. Collect all data required to maintain accurate records of grade reporting, run GPA and Rank.
3. Run Utilities to add Graduation Information to include but not limited to: Grad type codes, FHSP participation Coding, Declared Endorsements.
4. Enter year student entered 9th grade/grad base year in order to maintain accurate cohort data.
5. Monitor calendar tracks and ensure Dual Credit students are placed under Dual Credit calendar tracks.
6. Enter year student entered 9th grade/grad base year in order to maintain accurate cohort data.
7. Verify the accuracy of all processed data, recognize discrepancies, and take corrective action in support of PEIMS and court reporting requirements.
8. Complete all input documents and update student database via electronic data transmission to maintain systems supported including the school instructor file, student demographic and enrollment data, and grade reporting.
9. Enter course master of all courses offered on campus and input into database.
10. Understand and correctly use computer for systems supported including data transmission, student database inquiry, printed products, grade reporting and attendance.
11. Request, pick up, and distribute all student database products appropriate to school offices and/or personnel.
12. Understand and interpret student database products and their uses.
13. Communicate and work with other offices within the building, school district, and other districts.
14. Plan and schedule tasks taken into consideration school priorities and the departmental calendar.
15. Implement, and maintain a manual record keeping system for documentation of systems supported.
16. Attend schedules department workshops to maintain current knowledge of systems.
