Analyst

Overview

ILS is looking for adding a few Analyst (recent Graduate) level professionals to our team who has an interest in management consulting, and background in technical fields including cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, data science, and anything of a similar nature. The ideal candidate would be someone with strong technical skills who is interested in branching out from a purely technical focused career to take on a role in business strategy, utilizing their specialties to add unique perspective and value to client projects.

Responsibilities

Engagement Delivery

• Regularly interface with ILS Clients in a professional and personable manner• Create the appropriate deliverables required for the completion of various client projects,• Provide exceptional value to our clients on engagements of varying sizes, scope, and industry.• Utilize your personal skillset and knowledge base to develop impressive personal brand-identity to maximize your value to the firm• Comply with ILS standards for all client deliverables and continually hone your business acumen and consulting skills• Prepare and present clear, compelling, high quality presentations, reports, and other documents as required by the engagement  Business and Practice Development• Expand skill set and knowledge base in area(s) of concentration that are of interest to you• Synthesize lessons from past engagements, emerging technology, processes, or strategies, or industry knowledge to contribute to the firm’s thought leadership• Identify new skills and experience required by the firm• Support the recruitment process by maintaining a relationship with your alma mater and all potential alumni/ae groups to generate quality referrals

Qualifications

• Proven work-ethic and comfortability with significant workload• Calm and likeable demeanor under normal and high-pressure circumstances• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver high quality presentation documents• Highly comfortable with change, ambiguity and dynamic work environments• Proficiency in MS Office package and Adobe product• Desired Technical proficiency in a program/language/software/skill set: (e.g., Website Development, MySQL, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Python, VBA, Tableau)• Bachelor’s Degree required; Preference for fields relevant to our current needs (Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, etc.)• 0 - 2 years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, and/or Big 4 consulting experience• Strong track record of success in previous relevant internships and extracurricular involvement; Preference for individuals with experience from other management consulting firms, tech/development firms, venture capital firms, and/or early stage start-up companies.
