General Information: This position is a part of the Specialty Products Division and reports to the Production Superintendent in Marysville Ohio. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Background: This position is an entry level role in the ink manufacturing process at the Marysville site. This site operates on a 16 hour/5 day work schedule. Qualified candidates must be energetic, highly motivated & self-directed. Candidates must bring a can-do approach. Must be dedicated, flexible, organized, computer literate and detail oriented with strong multi-task skills. Candidates would start on a first shift schedule.
Key Functions: Typical duties will consist of participation in the production and shipment of daily orders (operating dispersers in our ink blend area). This consists of mixing chemicals to a prescribed recipe, packaging and labeling of the finished products, and palletizing and preparing all orders for shipment. Various safety inspections and housekeeping tasks are also common, offering a variety of functions throughout a normal work day. Fork lift certification will be offered to candidates.
Requirements: Candidate must work safe, be goal oriented, and be a self-starter. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization. Candidate must also possess good reading/math skills and be able to lift 50 pounds repetitively. Candidate must demonstrate a sincere interest and desire to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
