What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper position at International Paper?
We are currently seeking an hourly Shipper. The starting wage is $24.60/hour, including any applicable shift differential. This job requires physical exertion in an industrial environment (examples include: standing, reaching, twisting, exposure to seasonal temperatures, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds).

The Job You Will Perform:
- Perform all Shipper Routine tasks
- Actively participate in all safety processes, observations and Safety Committee.
- Train and certify employees on the operation of PIT equipment and shipping coordinator functions.
- Able to work any shift and overtime as needed.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, the press and all other departments to ensure all necessary Shipping related tools are in place to meet the customer’s expectations.
- Ensures all work is performed in a safe, clean, productive environment.
- Physical requirements include: Lift up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, climbing stairs etc.
- General housekeeping duties and COVID-19 sanitizing etc.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Work weekends, Holidays, and mandatory overtime as required.
- Wear provided required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as, but not limited to, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves and safety steel toed shoes.
- Learn safety procedures such as Lock-Out-Tag-Out, emergency response, and other safety processes.
