EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· B.A. or B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration a similar field or an equivalent technical degree or certificate program and or work experience in the field.
SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES:
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Intermediate knowledge and experience in implementation of messaging, email, and telephone systems.
· Ongoing knowledge of emerging technologies that directly affect corporate communications
· Knowledge in hardware and software.
· Knowledge in Excel and SharePoint environment.
· Comfortable working in Windows and Apple operating systems, environment and familiarity with common networking technologies.
· Good communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate with internal costumers, end-users and vendors at various levels.
· Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
· Ability to update knowledge and grow experience in various related fields as required.
· Knowledge in cybersecurity.
· Network maintenance knowledge.
· Basic understanding of database systems
EXPERIENCE:
· At least three to five (3 – 5) years experience in the field of information technology, computer science or a related field

ROLE AND CORE FUNCTION:
· Support approximately 40 users, 2 physical sites with I.T. needs. Support corporate managed devices including computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones and applications. Maintaining system functionality by testing computer components troubleshooting and fixing as needed.
· Provide direct user support for reported information technology issues and problems.
Track issues to resolution and provide appropriate categorization and closure details. Quickly and accurately determine incident scope and impact. Escalate problems as required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Follow company policies to ensure integrity of the network, server/workstation deployment, and security.
2 Utilize and contribute to the design and maintenance of the service workflow process, system, and documentation.
3 Maintain user access standards, including data rights, application permissions and group membership.
4 Support and train employees on Office Applications and other technical topics as needed.
5 Responsible for physical security of devices not under use. Responsible for disposal of EoL equipment.
6 Coordinate with IT Team in corporate to ensure all application for all companies is in proper working order with the correct and up to date software properly installed.
7 Supporting employees in troubleshooting basic IT issues relating to email, internet, software updating and server issues

SOCIAL ENVIRONMENT:
NORMAL WORKING HOURS: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break. However, based on the nature of the operation, weekend and after-hours work may be necessary.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA:
THE JOB IS SATISFACTORILY PERFORMED WHEN:
· Proper functioning of all software applications on each users workstation.
· Ability to respond to application failures and achieve resolutions in a timely fashion

· Assignments are successfully completed. Particular significance is placed on quality of documentation, timely completion and in accordance with user requirements and proper business practices. Evaluation based on KPI’s assigned by IT General Manager.

· Knowledge of current and new system is quickly assimilated.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally require to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
· Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
· Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
· Must have the ability to be present, awake and alert at the assigned office location for a minimum of 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday for full-time employees or as scheduled by direct supervisor for part-time.
· Must have flexibility and dexterity in both wrists.
· Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other equipment such as a calculator, copy machine, printer, scanner, fax machine etc…
· Must be able to look at and clearly read a computer screen for an extended period of time.
