Location: New York, NY HQ USA ***THIS ROLE IS ELIGIBLE TO BE FULLY REMOTE*** Job Overview: IRC’s Center for Economic Opportunity (CEO) is a subsidiary of the International Rescue Committee and a non-profit financial institution that offers accessible, small-dollar consumer and microenterprise loans primarily to refugees, immigrants and other traditionally financially-excluded communities. CEO makes its loans through partnerships with trusted community-based organizations that offer financial education and other asset-building services. Reporting to and working in partnership with the Executive Director, the Director of Development and External Relations will develop and lead execution of CEO’s sustainability plan. A new position in the organization, the Director will help define CEO’s brand, identity and client and public-facing image. The position will formalize CEO’s development function from the ground floor and play a key role in defining the organization’s trajectory. The position will supervise and collaborate closely with CEO’s Communications Coordinator and have oversight over CEO’s marketing, web and digital communication channels. Responsibilities Job Requirements: Working Environment: Standard work environment; the majority of the workday at a computer terminal. The position requires periodic travel for conferences or meetings (approx. 5% time). This is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the U.S. The IRC and IRC workers must adhere to the values and principles outlined in IRC Way - Standards for Professional Conduct. Compensation: Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
