Purpose: To oversee Packaging of Bulk Product in strict Compliance with the given Master Packaging Specifications. Maintain and follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to produce a product of required quality within scheduled production time.
Responsibilities
- Ability and knowledge to effectively setup, changeover, adjust and operate all equipment on the packaging lines.
- Capability of processing paperwork, compiling batch record documentation and completing basic computer transactions
- Technical capability to fix minor issues on all packaging equipment, including the filler, labeler, capper, induction sealer and bundler.
- Run the line when the Foreperson is unavailable
- Properly execute all cleaning steps, equipment set-up and manufacturing instructions for installed pharmaceutical equipment in accordance with approved procedures.
- Notifies supervisor and/or leadership immediately of any safety concerns, accidents or injuries.
- Ensures accurate and timely completion of all equipment logs and documentation.
- Ensures proper cleanliness and assembly of all manufacturing equipment per the approved SOP.
- Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment at all times.
- Understands and adheres to all cGMP and FDA regulations.
- Identifies and reports any quality issues to supervisor or quality department.
- Understands and adheres to all Company policies, procedures, SOPs and Safety regulations.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in GMP environment (Preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Strong work ethic, professional approach and ownership of lines production performance.
- Ability to follow SOPs and cGMPs, i.e., wearing appropriate clothing, beard covers, gloves, etc.
- Operators should possess good housekeeping skills.
- Ability to understand basic math and have basic computer knowledge.
- The ability to weigh materials using the metric system (kg) understanding tare, gross and net weights.
- Must maintain a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills.
- Ability to interact with other department Technicians, Schedulers, Product development and Information Services.
- The ability to work independently, within a production team and without supervision.
