MEDIA PROJECT MANAGER
We are looking for a Media Project Manager that can wrangle together all the assets needed for both trade and digital media placements for our clients. The Media Project Manager needs to be a highly detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple clients and campaigns at the same time, be proactive and work through details for all placements. This role will work very closely with the Media Planner/Buyer and the Digital Media Manager to understand the media plans for each client and manage and execute the placements. You will collaborate with the agency’s account service, creative, project management and digital teams to flawlessly execute our multi-platform media campaigns on behalf of our clients. You are expected to understand the ins and outs of the various media platforms and how these assets work in the industry. Responsibilities
- The “go-to” Project Manager for active media projects
- Ability to understand Media Strategy and Media Buys and be a knowledge source for each client running media
- Own the media schedules within Interrupt’s project management software
- Review media Insertion Orders (timing, submissions, and content) and coordinate between media, resourcing, and production teams
- Traffic creative materials and UTMs for media placements with each partner, working closely with media and creative departments
- Media coordination, management and execution of media plans and assets upon client approval
- Creation of a media repository of specifications, details, and explanations of the various media options available to provide the internal team direction for creation and finalization
- Execute on all campaigns using documents, including flowcharts, creative specs, material deadlines and tracking URL’s
- Coordinate campaign creative needs and oversee timelines and deliverables for all creative needs to ensure on-time delivery to media partners
- Monitor campaign deliverables, timelines, budgets
- Provide high level of customer service to clients with effective communication, timely responses to requests and proactive resolution of potential issues
- Understanding Interrupt’s Estimating Guide (IEG) for internal usage and costs associated with various media assets and deliverables
- Creation and input on estimates related to media plans
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the media planning and buying process, and working with outside vendors for execution of placements
- Experience executing media campaigns for both traditional and digital placements across multiple channels with multiple tactics including, but not limited to, Traditional Media, Paid Social, AdWords, Display/Retargeting, Native, Video and Email
- Exposure to marketing tools, such as: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google AdWords, DSP’s, etc.
- Ability to quickly gain an understanding of a client’s business and industry
- Works cooperatively, collaboratively, and respectfully in a team environment
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and stay on top of media and industry trends
- Strong organization skills along with project management skills with great attention to detail
- Proficiency in working with and managing numbers/data
- Self-starter; demonstrates energy and creativity
- Effective communication skills and excellent follow-through
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel
- Experience with Workamajig (project management software) a plus
- It is preferred that this position work full time in Sylvania, Ohio; Remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising/communications or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in media project management, planning or trafficking and execution using various ad technology including Ad Serving, Media Planning and/or relevant media tools.
- Candidate must work in Sylvania, Ohio, with daily attendance on Interrupt premises
Salary : $50,900 - $64,400
