Driver

The Driver is responsible for transporting products, tools, and equipment from the Company’s warehouse facility to customers and job sites. Their duties include delivering items safely and promptly, picking up items from vendors or job sites and loading and unloading goods. Will be required to pass a UA and Fit for duty test.

Essential Functions:

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily:

· Deliver a wide variety of items to different locations and through different routes.

· Follow routes and time schedule, as directed.

· Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle. Maintain basic maintenance of delivery vehicles.

· Provide excellent customer service when delivering. Handle any inquiries and escalate as needed.

· Deliver/Pickup items pulling a trailer.

· Other duties as directed.

Education/Certification:

· A High school diploma or equivalent is required.

· Must be 21 years of age or older.

· Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license with at least 5 years of driving experience and with a clean driving record.

· Must have experience pulling a trailer, minimum 20’

Competencies:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Clear understanding of customer service requirements and skills needed to comply with the Company’s standards.

· Basic understanding of, or ability to, quickly learn company product codes and terminology.

· Adaptability to the Company’s needs to achieve goals.

· Thorough understanding of logistics policies and procedures.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

· Normal operating conditions could be during the day/night, in outdoor hot/cold weather, and/or wet conditions. Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.

· The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and see and operate a vehicle.

· Employee will frequently be standing, stepping, lifting, climbing, overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, balancing, kneeling, crawling, and bending.

· Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds at a time.

• 10-hour shift

Day range:

• Holidays on occasion
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
