Supply Chain Support

Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Supply Chain Support person to join our Team. The Supply Chain Support person will be responsible for developing and facilitating the relationship with clients for Interstates. Interstates seeks ambitious, innovative individuals with the ability to grow and maintain value-added relationships with our Team and external clients.

• Serves as a point of contact for the field
• Enter purchase orders into database
• Check invoices and follow up with the person who ordered or the vendor if incorrect
• Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and corresponding invoices when they do not match
• Receive and respond to material requests via phone/e-mail
• Contact vendor(s) to order materials and arrange for delivery when needed
• Follow up on returns, claims for credit, and damage claims
• Set up water delivery, copier rentals, and similar services for jobsites when requested
• Research product information or vendors online as needed
• Order safety items for jobsites as needed
• Order office trailers and rental equipment as needed for each job site
• Order jobsite office trailer supplies as requested
• Track instrument orders in InterTrak as needed
• Order stickers/labels and jobsite signs
• Coordinate getting year end property tax information from the regional offices (rentals, tools, office equipment)
• Working Resource for Supply Chain Support I
• Helps execute delivery standards for Support
• Assists in execution of work for all Support
• Gives input on personnel needs
• Other duties may be assigned

Education and/or Experience:

• Preferred: Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with project accounting and/or ERP software.

Preferred Skills:

• Operate Microsoft Suite and Viewpoint functions.
• Organizational skills.

Travel: Travel will be required up to 10% of the time.
