InterVision is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our team who is interested in growing with us as one of the most successful and reputable IT consulting firms in California.  You would be responsible for identifying, contacting and closing business with various State, local, and education organizations in California. You are consultative in your sales approach, a strong brand ambassador and possess a hunter mentality when it comes to developing new business.

 

We welcome your experience and talents to our team:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
  • At least three (3) to five (5) years of sales experience, preferably in the high technology or related industry
  • Knowledge of the Government acquisition processes desirable (RFI, RFO, RFP)
  • Experience selling professional IT consulting services, and managed or cloud technology services, or experience in similar industry
  • Must be skilled at the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities within the State, Local Government, and Education market through creative lead generation, personal sales visits, and sales presentations
  • Ability to constructively and persuasively present technology solutions and close business with executives and decision-makers
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
  • Customer-focused with a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task, problem-solve and manage client relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including strong motivation, focus, and passion for selling services of value to State and Local Government clients
  • Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft applications
  • Experience with managing longer sales cycle opportunities
  • Ability to become a trusted advisor to customers

 

Some of the work you will encounter:

 

  • Understand client business issues and formulate recommended solutions that drive value for the Client and InterVision
  • Maintain expertise on the company’s products, services and solutions to effectively position technology options and close profitable sales to Public Sector Clients.
  • Utilize professional networking to build relationships with executive and decision-making managers at targeted customers
  • Performs effective account planning with an extended team, calling at all levels within clients’s organization, and managing partner relationships
  • Apply consultative sales approach to grow the client base and drive higher revenue, client growth, and client retention
