Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate must be aware,that this is a Skill-level position fitting steel material.Must have the ability to perform duties and responsibilities in a safe and efficent manner.Must be able to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.Must have average reading and math skills.Must be able to read a tape measure.Must be able to differentiate material.Must have the skill and knowledge to Operate the following tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner,crane and hoisting Attachments,Grinder,Welding Machine,drill,hammers,stencils,Punch,Torch,Reamer,Impact Wrenches,Etc.
Duties:
- Read,interrupt,and fit steel material as outlined by blueprints using the above listed tools and equipment.
- Transport steel product/material manually or with cranes,chains,plate lamps,etc.
- Train Tacker to be a Fitter
Experience:
Heavy lifting, UP TO 75 pounds or more,in a timely-manner
Welding,Light Construction,Forklift exp.
