- Role: Software Architect
- Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid schedule, 3 days/week onsite)

- Architect and develop robust, scalable, and distributed systems using Java, Spring Boot and microservices.
- Create and present comprehensive design and architectural diagrams to various stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Implement observability strategies focusing on metrics, traces, and logging to ensure system reliability and performance
- Lead and drive solutions involving both SQL and NoSQL transactional databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and CouchDB.
- Guide teams through complex architectural decisions while balancing technical trade-offs.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure successful integration and smooth communication using REST and GraphQL.
- 7 years of experience as a Solution Architect with hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and patterns
- Strong experience with transactional databases (SQL and NoSQL) such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and CouchDB.
- Expertise in observability, including metrics, tracing, and logging to ensure system reliability and troubleshooting
- Experience working in the financial industry is mandatory, with Amex experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in developing and presenting design and architectural diagrams.
- Experience in Omnichannel and Realtime integration
