Overview
Intrepid Solutions is currently supporting the National Air & Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) providing IT support services across multiple contract task orders. This is a NEW MULTI-YEAR contract. The program supports diverse needs providing employees many opportunities for career development, growth and advancement. To continue to excel this program, Intrepid is seeking a Sr. Security Hardware Technician to provide support to the NASIC IT infrastructure. A qualified Sr. Security Hardware Technician candidate will be able to meet the requirements and perform the duties outlined below:
Responsibilities
- Document activities by entering appropriate information into the corporate tracking system.
- Configure, install, build, transport and perform Level I and Level II maintenance on SQL based access control systems, intrusion detection systems, analog and IP based video surveillance systems, and Badging systems.
- Analyze system faults, troubleshoot, and run diagnostic tests on Security operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
- Initiate preventive maintenance on the workstations, servers, and networks as well as repairing system problems.
- Troubleshooting of system performance and make system modifications to accommodate Security system hardware, firmware, and software upgrades.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS: This is a full time position, with standard operating hours Monday - Friday, unless otherwise discussed with management. As required, work any shift/extended shifts, and on call support.
TRAVEL: Position does not require travel.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret / SCI **TS/SCI required upon application for initial consideration***
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of experience as a Network Hardware Support Technician which includes troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in fiber optic cable installation, maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of network and web related protocols (eg, TCI/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols).
- Knowledge of High-performance computer interconnects (Ethernet, InfiniBand, Fibre Channel).
- Knowledge of electronics and mechanical device systems.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent
CERTIFICATION(S):
- Possess active IAT Level II (Security , or equivalent) Certification.
PREFERRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Portal electrical latch and lock assemblies experience.
- SQL database, LENEL OnGuard, Bosch CCTV experience.
- A and Certified Fiber Optics Installer (CFOI) certification.
- Active CompTIA Network certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT(S):
- Capable of climbing ladders and lifting/carrying up to 40 pounds.

Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
