Overview
The Ecosystem and Lifecycle Marketing (ELM) team in Intuit’s Small Business and Self-Employed Group (SBSEG) is looking for a Head of Performance & Planning. In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure the delivery of meaningful business impact for the team responsible for cross-sell, upsell and retention for all of QuickBooks 18 distinct products. ELM’s mission is to empower SMBs throughout their lifecycle by accelerating their speed to value, surfacing the right products and services at the right time, and inspiring them with data, insights and features.
This is an opportunity for a motivated and experienced data driven leader who likes to wear multiple hats. Part business strategy and analysis, part operations and project management, this role is ideal for a transformational leader. You will report directly to the VP of Ecosystem and Product Marketing, heading a small team that is responsible for managing the monitoring of business performance across all of the team’s responsibilities and ensuring clear and consistent communication of impact and results. Our ideal candidate has prior experience managing business performance and improving operational efficiency.

How you will lead
- Lead the team that drives business performance reporting, planning, and transformation.
- Working closely with Analytics, drive ELM business reviews at the ecosystem, product, campaign and channel level.
- Facilitate the experiment results share-out process by defining the agenda, partnering with Analytics and Lifecycle Marketers on the content and capturing actions.
- Assist with validating results for accuracy, clarity, and actionability
- Act as the business performance communication bridge between the ELM team and the rest of the SBSEG organization including senior leadership, Analytics, Acquisition Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management and Finance.
- Drive the “marketing of the marketing” through the creation and share out of quarterly product and project level wrap report presentations and team newsletters.
- Identify the tools, analytics and data necessary to bring the ELM vision to life including: predictive models, KPI’s, dashboards and 3rd party tools.
- Partner with the rest of the Leadership team to develop, facilitate, and manage team Operation Mechanics (Op Mech) that drive the communication of results within the ELM team and with partner teams.
- Partner with the Analytics team to identify the meta-learnings of all the experiments to ensure we continue to spend time on the most impactful strategies.
- Integrate various datasets to create, present, and defend analyses and other business insights to senior leadership
- Support the ELM team through the forecasting process ensuring ELM inclusion and input from kickoff to final pass, regular engagements with primary product finance partners and sign off on ELM owned channel forecasts.
- Continuously seek out areas of improvement for process and collaboration.
