Responsibilities
- Driving data models and definitions: Creating a single source of truth for multiple analytics and AI teams to extract value from data, delivering scalable, repeatable, effective, and meeting the expectations of various stakeholders and leaders. In addition, provide ongoing recommendations to leadership utilizing complex data, business knowledge, and strategic assumptions when data doesn’t exist.
- Identifying opportunities and influencing product development teams to act: You will partner with a cross-functional team to leverage data and technology to deliver better outcomes for customers and business partners.
- Driving self-serve and data literacy of insights: You will create learning and measurement plans for experiments and campaigns to define instrumentation and data collection requirements. By partnering with data engineering to scale and automate analytics on new products and initiatives, you will build reports to drive discussions, facilitate decision-making, and provide actionable insights.
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience working with different data and analytics domains such as service operations, e-commerce marketplace, customer care, product, finance, and marketing.
- Experience influencing at senior leadership levels and driving cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling and mapping business needs into data design and modeling.
- Ability to simplify stories with data and be concise in the insights and how they drive outcomes with leadership and stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving skills and end-to-end quantitative thinking
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and critical deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills with both technical and non-technical colleagues
- Proactive and inquisitive learner... seeks out and capitalizes on opportunities for change that enhance the business, rather than reacting to circumstances
- Strong organization, time management, and task prioritization skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Finance, Advanced Analytics, a related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree preferred
