Job Description Position Overview As an analyst, M&A you will pursue acquisitions to grow Invenergy’s development pipeline and expand the business into new areas that fit within the Company’s strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include transaction diligence, valuation, financial modeling, counterparty relationship management, deal structuring and negotiation, and market intelligence monitoring and analysis. Responsibilities: Participate in the origination of development project acquisition opportunities based on continuous internal collaboration with the Development, Finance, Origination, Strategy, and Operations teams Manage day-to-day cross-functional internal diligence efforts for acquisition opportunities Perform financial modeling and valuation in support of transactions Assist or manage acquisition and divestiture transaction processes to ensure efficient deal completion process and smooth transition to Development and/or Construction Teams Develop and maintain relationships with strategic counterparties Evaluate the acquisition of opportunities and provide input to management as to whether to allocate time and resources based on strategic fit Maintain market intelligence and provide updates to management regarding transactions and structures being executed in the market Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or engineering. 2 years of experience in finance or banking. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses self-starter qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal direction. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to prioritize several concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
