Shop General Helper

Inventech Marine Solutions (IMS) designs and builds aluminum boats for a variety of users around the world. We are continuing to expand and have an immediate opening for a Shop General Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate must be driven for success, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and have a drive for continuous improvement. This is a full-time year-round position that offers a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, seven paid holidays, and profit-sharing.

Inventech Marine Solutions is in Bremerton, WA. Our team is currently just over 50 employees. Our work is fast-paced while maintaining a fun, friendly environment. We hold a strong reputation for manufacturing high-quality products and providing outstanding customer service. We design and manufacture boats from 17FT all the way up to 50FT, each built to order. Our culture cultivates a diverse portfolio of vessels and clients.

Qualified candidates must have a positive attitude, work with purpose, and have the drive to accomplish goals. This position reports directly to the department manager. Daily tasks are outlined but applicants must show initiative to complete unassigned tasks with little to no supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Janitorial Cleaning

· Shop Maintenance

· Boat Washing

· Monitor Shop Consumable Inventory Levels

· Keep MSDS Sheets Current

· Pickup Loose Cardboard

· Run Errands as necessary

· Pressure Test Fuel Tanks

· Organize and Maintain the Shop

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; lifting of 40 lbs. or less on a frequent basis; frequent pushing and pulling, twisting, and turning of the trunk, reaching, and handling of objects; occasional climbing, balancing and crawling. Driving of vehicles and Forklift Operation.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday to Friday
• 7 AM to 3:30 PM
• Will require overtime and weekend scheduling as necessary

COMPENSATION: Starting at $18.00 per hour
