Job Purpose (Job Summary):
As we move into our next stage of growth, we are looking to further develop and extend our institutional platform, improve the commercialization of our capabilities, and strengthen engagement with our clients. This position will work closely with our senior strategists on several impactful strategic initiatives in this area, progress key strategic priorities and initiatives, develop mid to long-range strategic plans and objectives through the identification of strategic issues and opportunities. This position will report to the Managing Director Global Institutional.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
- Manage key initiatives and special projects and collaborate with senior strategists on the execution of global institutional and private markets priorities
- Design & implement critical elements of strategic agendas and operating plans while independently managing various projects and / or work streams
- Support the development and advancement of key strategic initiatives for Invesco’s institutional business
- Conduct research and analysis designed to inform management strategy and decision-making
- Coordinate and support key forums and committees to enable collaborative problem solving amongst various constituencies
- Prepare materials, presentations and reports to provide regular communication updates to key constituencies
- Conduct competitive and market intelligence to inform our business and support strategic planning

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
- Master's degree required (MBA preferred)
- 5-7 years of experience in strategy, consulting, or related roles
