Job Function
Develops and retains Treasury Management business for assigned territory and/or customer base. Partners with assigned Retail branches, Commercial Relationship Managers and Business Bankers in a consultative sales role. Meets annual sales goals and sales activity targets by developing sales plans. Develops and executes regular calling programs and analyzes customer needs. Develops and maintains a strong knowledge of products, pricing strategies, technical tools, and sales strategies to maximize effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
Works independently and in partnership with Retail branches, Commercial Relationship Managers and Business Bankers to develop new profitable business from prospective clients, developing while executing
Assists with the development and execution of strategic sales plans.
Identifies potential new business opportunities for Treasury Management and provides appropriate solution(s).
Deepens and grows existing Commercial relationships through Treasury Management products.
Understands the clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to better determine their requirements.
Understands the competitions' capabilities and gaps, and how to position the bank’s Treasury Management services against them.
Promotes sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments.
Creates proposals for customers and manages the entire Treasury Management sales process.
Develops in-depth client knowledge and shares it with the Commercial Lenders for both new business development and management of client risk.
Generates cross-sell opportunities by maintaining strong working relationships with other lines of business.
Ensures that own work is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies and guidelines.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and Related Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
- 3 years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience required.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to operate a keyboard if required performing the essential job functions.
- Ability to read and interpret a document.
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence, omitting lifting as a physical requirement.
