Senior Digital Project Manager

The Role

As our Senior Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for the success of a variety of medium to large-scale digital projects spanning multiple services within the company. Following an established processes to lead both client and project teams through the full project lifecycle, as well as diligently controlling the scope, budget, and quality of your projects. With strong attention to detail, process control, and an ability to cascade motivation to your team, you will establish yourself as a leader on the projects you manage.

SENIOR DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER - What You'll Be Doing

• Co-chair project meetings, kick-off meetings, retrospective, and deliverable review meetings
• Clearly articulate project scope and the impact of scope change during delivery to clients and internal teams
• Communicate weekly project updates to all stakeholders to ensure effective expectation management and alignment
• Act as the project delivery escalation point for the internal team and client stakeholders with accountability for ensuring quality within the team
• Align with senior client stakeholders on business objectives and goals to ensure the successful delivery of project work
• Motivate, coach, and mentor your project teams toward successful outcomes
• Work with the internal project teams to "see the big picture" and develop smart, innovative, campaign elements in alignment with the client strategy
• Control project by anticipating and documenting risks, issues and dependencies, and taking corrective actions, when needed
• Maintain project scope, escalating out of scope items to client and Account Manager, when needed
• Monitor and maintain overall profit margin on a per client and/or per project basis
• Lead, define and document, and roll out process improvement, using workflow tools, monitoring adoption and governing thereafter
• Govern project team adherence to the delivery process
• Collaborate with the Resource Manager to ensure accurate planning, resource capacity and forecasting
• Co-own quarterly training on our project management platform as well as assisting in training new hires on the project management team

SENIOR DIGITAL PROJECT MANAGER - Who You Are

• 5 years' project management experience in a client-facing role within digital/performance marketing
• Previous experience working at a marketing agency with direct client support on medium-complexity projects
• Highly collaborative team player that's focused on successful project delivery and impact to the company as a whole
• Strategic thinker with the ability to advise clients on project success, budgets, and timeline
• Ability to lead the delivery of medium-complexity, multi-faceted performance marketing projects, paid media experience is a plus
• Strong team and client leadership skills, using assertiveness where required
• Strong numerical, written, and oral presentation and facilitation skills
• Highly process-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support junior team members
• Excellent working knowledge of project management tools

• Kantata (formerly called Mavenlink), Jira and Confluence experience, preferred
