Licened Professional Counselor

Requirements:
State licensure or ability to obtain appropriate state licensure
Provide comprehensive behavioral health screenings and assessments of students as appropriate
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Apply psychological principles, methodology, and techniques designed to modify behavior
Perform crisis evaluation and behavioral intervention as needed
Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students
Maintain appropriate records
Collaborate in the development and implementation of an effective treatment plan based on the individual’s IEP
Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
Perform other LPC duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
Personal commitment to driving positive outcomes for students
Collaborative minded professional with strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work and build strong relationships with parents, teachers and school administrators
Experience working in schools or with children a plus, but not required
