About the job

Inxeption is looking for a Business Lead to join our Strategy & Corporate Development Team. This position offers opportunities to work closely with the executive leadership team across various functions to identify, prioritize, and execute strategies to achieve Inxeption’s business objectives.

The role is part of the Business @ Inxeption Leadership Development (BUILD) Program which develops future leaders in strategy, finance, product, and commercial operations. This leadership program is for ambitious business professionals that are eager to develop new skills and contribute meaningfully to building businesses. Business Leads in the BUILD program operate in a lean team and will be highly visible to senior leadership across the company.

The BUILD Program is designed to be a 1 – 2 year rotation program that will include 2 more rotations in multiple aspects of strategy and execution. Rotations are always changing and will be designed as the needs of the business evolve, but sample rotational assignments could include:

  • Corporate Strategy [Required – 3 months]
    • Learn the company’s strategy and identify business opportunities
    • Collaborate with business unit leaders on research & analysis
  • Product Creation & GTM Strategy
    • Design, develop, and market a new product for the company
    • Scale the commercial development of a product offering
  • Vertical Marketplace Strategy
    • Build a business plan for the company to enter a new end market and launch / incubate a new vertical marketplace
  • International Expansion Strategy
    • Accelerate Inxeption’s go-to-market for manufacturers and supply chain businesses in a country / region outside the United States
  • Corporate Development & Partnerships
    • Manage M&A and investment processes, from sourcing through diligence and integration
    • Identify and negotiate beneficial partnerships for Inxeption to bring to its customer base
  • Strategic Planning & Analysis
    • Partner with functional leaders to build insightful business models
    • Deliver insights and recommendations to management on financial & KPI targets

Requirements:

  • 5 years in strategy, equity research, consulting, bizops, investment banking, corporate development, venture capital, private equity, or hedge funds
  • Undergraduate degree in business or related field; MBA preferred
  • Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects & processes from start to finish
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong presentation skills including creating high quality, visually appealing slide decks & reports and verbally presenting to senior executives
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills to work across functions and levels of seniority
  • Mastery of corporate finance concepts, keen business acumen, and knowledge and understanding of capital markets
  • Passion for learning and curiosity, especially in the fields of business and technology
  • Robust communication skills and ability to work well alone and in groups
  • Advanced fluency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
