Responsibilities
- Driving search and discovery roadmap prioritization, vision, and strategy with internal stakeholders, driving the end-to-end product implementation process
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to defines success metrics, drive go-to-market strategy and adoption, drive product feature enhancements/iterations
- Conduct user research and surveys by synthesizing customer pain points; analyze and visualize large amounts of data into actionable insights and is an advocate of the metric-driven decision-making process
- Coordinating post-launch activities to validate that the new features work as designed, collect performance metrics and customer feedback
- Moving fast within our agile and iterative team environment
- Work with off-shore teams in India and Colombia for development
- Provide weekly updates on product roadmap progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field
- 5 years of product management experience with eCommerce search
- Optimizing for an outcome (e.g. ad revenue, CTR optimization, revenue maximization, etc.)
- Ranking and relevance
- Content understanding and classification
- Metrics-driven, with proficiency in identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon metrics using A/B testing methods. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring
- Experience and willingness to work with off-shore teams (India, Colombia)
- Experience working with JIRA (or any other similar tool) to drive the product evolution
- Experience running scrums working with off-shore teams
- Experience defining ML based search
- Familiar with product information data like Global Trade Item Number (GTIN), and other standards
- You have experience working with UX designers to create intuitive experiences
- You’re comfortable working with software engineers to develop scalable solutions
- You’re skilled at engaging and communicating with senior executives across multiple domains
- You engage at a detailed level across key stakeholders and are organized, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You’re stimulated by challenges and are comfortable dealing with ambiguity
- An individual with a proven track record of aligning teams and prioritizing features/resources
- A self starter with a high degree of self direction and independent drive
