Chainalytics’ procurement-focused capabilities balance a mix of strategy development and execution to help our clients to achieve corporate and functional objectives which drive shareholder value. In this role you will collaborate with a mix of procurement experts and client team members to develop and implement innovative and data-driven solutions that enable future-forward procurement capabilities. Responsibilities:
- Manage client engagements and workstreams related to procurement and supply chain
- Provide day-to-day oversight of project work while managing stakeholder expectations
- Lead development and execution of client interviews, meetings, and workshops
- Review team analysis of complex data or processes and provide insightful feedback
- Leverage procurement and supply chain knowledge to develop and oversee creation of solutions and recommendations on client projects
- Lead resolution of problems, issues, and risks using creativity and innovation
- Efficiently manage project scope, resources, timelines, and budgets
- Ensure timely completion and quality of project deliverables
- Effectively manage client relationships and joint project teams
- Lead preparation for key program management and governance meetings (e.g., status)
- Mentor junior consultants/analysts in techniques and methodology
- Engage and communicate with clients at all levels of the organization during the delivery process to earn their confidence and trust
- Support identification, scoping and client positioning of additional areas of opportunity
- Manage and contribute to business development activities (proposals, bids, SOW creation, etc.)
- Support creation of thought leadership materials (blogs, public speaking, etc.) that support Chainalytics’ overall brand and positioning
- Contribute to ongoing development of methodologies and new service offerings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a leading institution in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Analytics, Operations Research, or related area; Master’s degree preferred
- 6 years of relevant industry and/or consulting experience (procurement or supply chain focus); management consulting experience preferred
- Functional expertise across the value chain and procurement operating model
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and presentation skills
- Critical thinker with strong data, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using both quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze procurement or supply chain data
- Demonstrated experience developing relationships with senior stakeholders
- Strong project management and delivery experience, including scope management, milestone tracking, budget oversight and staffing of project teams
- Advanced skills with complex data analysis and related insight creation
- Adept at managing and developing high-performing, diverse consulting teams
- Leadership and mentorship skills to develop junior consultants and analysts
- Impeccable integrity, passion for supply chain consulting, creative, and energetic
- Track record leading challenging projects that delivered results (procurement focus preferred)
- Ability to work in an ambiguous environment, take initiative, and adapt to changes from clients or internal stakeholders
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
- Commitment to personal growth, practice growth, and client success on every project
- Proposal and go-to-market content development experience
