Market Operations Manager

The Rounds is looking for a rockstar operations manager to bring our vision for the future of commerce. You will bring operational leadership to drive continuous improvement and rapid market expansion. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional team members to own market management and develop innovative solutions to drive excellence across various parts of operations.

As an early member of the city's operations team, you are critical to the success of a fast-growing, mission-driven startup. You must have a fierce, detail-oriented, gets-things-done attitude. You will work closely with other functions of the organization, and build a company from the ground up.

You will:

• Do a lot of everything, we're a startup; no job is too big or too small, no task is beneath any of us.
• Own every part of the market's operations and everything that comes with it, including building out market expansion strategy, developing standard operating procedures, and hiring and training a high-performing operations team
• Oversee day-to-day in-market operations and ensure all site processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely
• Use data-driven decisions making to design and implement innovative solutions to drive continuous operational improvements
• Provide operational metric updates/reporting on a consistent basis to various stakeholders and highlight key insights and learnings
• Lead by example. Jump in alongside your team member to provide necessary support including completing a bike route or picking and packing refills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Ops roles: supply chain, last-mile logistics, warehouse management
• A demonstrated interest in logistics, on-demand services, and marketplaces.
• General working knowledge of basic tech applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google G-Suite)
• Agile, team player willing to navigate fluctuating needs of a fast-growing startup
• Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
