Warehouse Operations Supervisor

Tigers USA Global Logistics is currently hiring two supervisors for our Tacoma, WA facility overseeing all operations of different accounts in the warehouse. This facility does ecommerce and B2B contract logistics operations.

What will I be responsible for?

• Supervising day to day operations in the warehouse for multiple clients across all warehouse departments
• Supervising the receiving, shipping, handling, distribution, processing and storage of all product
• Managing inventory of client product and running daily cycle counts
• Leading daily team huddles to update employees on daily tasks, orders, priorities, challenges, and successes
• Delegating tasks within warehouse to account leads into scalable workloads
• Overseeing HR administrative matters such as time off and performance management
• Communicating with local staffing agencies regarding temporary staff
• Monitoring staffing needs while being directly involved in hiring, firing and discipline
• Communicating regularly with various clients in the operation and resolving issues as needed
• Using forecast information from clients to identify staffing and resource needs for operation
• Participating and contributing to business reviews with clients
• Communicating customer needs and updates effectively to logistics department and all employees to ensure orders are completed according to customer requirements
  
• Monitoring performance and productivity metrics to measure individual and departmental performance
• Reviewing labor management reports to ensure staffing costs are aligned with client needs and branch target metrics
• Adhering to and enforcing corporate policies and safety standards set by company and OSHA
• Performing additional duties as assigned

What do you need from me?

• 4 years’ experience in 3PL warehouse environment
• 2 years’ experience leading teams and projects in a 3PL warehouse environment
• Experience supervising shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and distribution operations
• Experience communicating with customers
• Experience using labor management tools and reports
• Intermediate experience in MS Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)

What makes me stand out?

• Bilingual Spanish & English a plus
• Forklift certification or other certifications related to logistics and supply chain operations
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Experience using WMS

Physical Demands
• This role requires individuals to talk, hear, use hands, stand, walk, sit, and see.
• Ability to lift, lower, and maneuver packages between 20 and 70 lbs.
• This position involves heavy lifting and carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling and reaching.
