Iowa Fire Protection Inc. is hiring an Estimator in Hiawatha, IA.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing and estimating costs for construction of sprinkler systems.

With a combined expertise of over 300 years of experience in fire protection and life safety services, Iowa Fire Protection is the unquestioned leader in Eastern Iowa for quality fire sprinkler services.

Responsibilities:

  • Create preliminary layouts of sprinkler systems for the purpose of bidding
  • Attend walk throughs of potential projects
  • Generate materials lists from layouts
  • Communicate with customers regarding ongoing jobs (general contractors, site superintendents, maintenance managers, etc.).
  • Work with scheduler to make sure project timelines are met

Requirements:

  • 5 years of fire protection sprinkler design experience required
  • 2 years of construction sales experience required
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management is preferred
  • NICET Level 1, 2, or 3 fire protection sprinkler design desired
