What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging position at IOWA STAFFING?
Immediate Packaging positions in the Albia, IA area. These are temp to hire positions with full benefits offered once hired full-time. First shift available! The hours are Monday – Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm and Friday 6:00am-10:00am. Starting pay is $13.05 an hour. Experience is preferred but not required.
Duties
- Hand assembly of component parts for mouse traps
- Loading and unloading of component parts into machine to make sub-assemblies
- Loading and unloading sub-assemblies into machines to assemble traps
- Lift bins of part from machine to able for sorting
- Using hand tools such as: pop rivet gun, needle nose pliers, hammers, crimping machine
- Packaging and labelling of finished traps
Below are the requirements:
- Ability to work with hands for small parts assembly
- Ability to lift 40 pounds
- Ability to sit and stand intermittently throughout the shift
- Ability to work Monday-Friday weekly, including making personal appointments on Friday after 10:00am
- Reliable transportation to Albia, IA area
- Complete and pass a pre-employment E-Verify, drug screen, and background check
