Summary: The purpose of this position is to promote and provide a safe, secure, and interactive campus community. This position is responsible for overseeing and sustaining a safe and secure campus for all residents. This position will also assist with Student Activities and Engagement both in housing and on campus.

This position is responsible for overseeing and sustaining a safe and secure campus for all residents. This position will also assist with Student Activities and Engagement both in housing and on campus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages on and off campus activities and help with promoting social and student activities in and around campus. Assists in managing the student events, requisitions, marketing, and organization of the events.
- Manages housing according to building assignment and Resident Assistants (RA) at those locations. Assists with RA application review and hiring. Takes calls according to scheduled weekends and oversees all buildings and RA’s during that time.
- Inspects assigned buildings daily. Communicates effectively with the Director of Residence life to ensure that all rules and proper channels are being followed. Along with key inventory, routine maintenance and upkeep of all facilities affiliated with housing and parking lots.
- Reviews weekly RA on-duty reports. Schedules and conducts weekly RA meetings, monthly residence hall meetings, and nightly residence hall monitoring.
- Processes housing applications. Assigns rooms to new students and returning students moving to another housing unit. Assists with other housing processes and procedures (e.g. ID machine, logging work orders and PO’s).
- Acts as a mentor and supervisor in times of need in and around the residence halls, activities, cafeteria, parking lots, and public areas of campus.
- Supports the overall success of the district by performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience can be substituted for education.
Base Wage: $35,568-$47,300 - actual salary will be based on experience and education.
