We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planning Lead. This role is based either in our Oakville or Montreal offices, and reports to the Supply Planning Manager. The Supply Planning Lead ensures that the production build plans are optimized to achieve and exceed the organization's objectives. Leading 2 Production Schedulers will act as a focal point for identifying detailed supply risks, highlighting trade-off decisions to key partners, collaborating cross-functionally, and problem-solving, to achieve the supply objectives. Principal Responsibilities Creates detailed supply plans in the short to the mid-term horizon for assigned product categories Proactively identifies and communicates potential supply issues impacting the business Develops strong relationships with key internal parties including Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Demand Planning, and Production Scheduling to problem-solve and align priorities and trade-off decisions in the case of supply shortages Provides the day-to-day management of the finite Schedulers, setting objectives, measuring performance, and providing training, coaching, and feedback Provides Master Production schedule to the production schedulers on the priorities set by Sales for crafting the efficient finite production schedule Works closely with Purchasing for raw material replenishment to mitigate raw material supply risks Provides instruction to Inventory Deployment for balancing inventory between locations Skills & Experience 5 year of relevant supply planning experience, preferably within an industrial manufacturing environment; or relevant transferable skills and experience Bilingual French and English is a must 2 Management or supervisory experience is a must Strong ability with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to interpret large amounts of data; high attention to detail Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI is desirable IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
