What Can You Expect?
IPG Health's Bold BeginnersInternship Program is designed to offer college students the opportunity tolearn about a career in healthcare advertising. Interns will work in real-worldbusiness situations, attend seminars on the different aspects of the industry,and learn about the inner workings of an agency.
Each week is strategically broken down to help our interns make the most out oftheir time here. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday are spent working in your assigned department along with a personalized mentor to show you the way. Tuesdays also include lunch-and-learns, where interns network with senior leadership across each department. Thursday is reserved for teams to work on the client project, which is presented as a pitch to our C-level executives at the end of the summer.

Schedule:Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM)
Pay: $18/hr OT eligibility
Format: Fully Remote or Hybrid (preference must be indicated on your application). Please note, hiring teams may have different requirements regarding fully remote or in-person expectations.
Copywriting:
What We Do:We're writers and storytellers who strive for the insight that connects people with a product. We create work that saves lives.
What You'll Do:
- Show off your conceptualization skills with a Copywriter.
- Apply your creative thinking within a strategicframework.
- Dive into the process of telling a storywhile gaining exposure to typography, retouching, and engraving.
- Put your working knowledge of computer software to the test -InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop,etc.
- Own the process of designing a layout.
- Become a comp connoisseur by developing a rough comp, tight comp, and know the difference between comps, mechanicals, and proofs.
- Learn how to set type.
- Spend time reviewing advertising annuals (Commercial Arts/One Show/Addy/Art Director's Club).
What We're Looking For:
Education
- Rising junior, senior, or recent graduate from an accredited college or university.
- Studying advertising/marketingand/ordesign, or strong interest in learning more about this field.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative.
- Organized, with keen attention to detail.
- Creative approach to problem-solving.
- Portfolio of work (school/spec work is acceptable) demonstrating creative ability is required as part of application submission.
