The Position -As our chosen Sales Director every day you will help support home sales in our communities by managing the full home sales cycle, training our staff members on home sales processes, coordinate with Project Manager for new home placement, and be able to report accurately on each home in the sales process.
To thrive in this role:
Lead, direct and motivate our team to sell homes within our manufactured housing portfolio as quickly as possible
Manage all home sales transactions while complying with state laws from beginning to end
Oversee and approve offers to purchase, driving the sales process at all times.
Oversee the home closing, financing and titling process to ensure compliance with state and federal laws
Maintain existing active dealer licenses in each state we operate in accordance with regulations and state laws
Train and motivate onsite community managers with limited to no sales experience to show and sell manufactured homes
Work with Project Management on new home purchases for lot placement, set and finish to ensure new homes are marketable and profitable
Work with Project Management on home renovations to ensure homes are brought to a marketable condition
Work with Marketing to provide input on maximizing lead generation for each home
Required:
10 years home sales experience but can be traditional stick built housing. Manufactured housing sales experience is a plus!
Up to 40% travel to sites throughout the United States required, typically Tues – Thurs every other week.
Ability to utilize Outlook, Excel, plan and coordinate travel and understand financing terms and methodology
Position requires fantastic organization and communication skills
Willingness to obtain Occupational Dealer License from HCD within 60 days
Must live within Orange County, California and will work at our Irvine office 3 or more days per week
