What are the responsibilities and job description for the Contract Coordinator position at IPRO?
IPRO is currently seeking a Contract Coordinator to work with IPRO’s affiliate, Lumetra. The incumbent will be responsible for providing general administrative support Clinical Services team and internal and external customers. As a team member, activities include accomplishing team goals and assuring customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers. Duties will include but are not limited to: partnering with management to plan, develop, and maintain administrative systems to support the team’s work. Coordinating requests for information and medical records, tracks inventory, and maintains record keeping systems. Assisting in developing, implementing, reviewing, and continuously improving operational processes.
This is a full-time position based in the Lake Success, NY office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures needed to independently meet the administrative requirements of internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to gain in-depth understanding of all aspects of assigned team’s operations and knowledge of applicable regulations, contracts, policies, and specialized terminology.
- Must be able to work under pressure, meet required deadlines and priorities, and handle multiple projects.
- Must be able to work as a team member and support team decisions.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Familiarity with medical records and HIPAA compliance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- High school graduate (or equivalent), required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
- Two years of administrative experience, required.
- One year experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required.
