What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern (Managed Care - Summer) position at IPRO?
IPRO Managed Care Internship
This is an opportunity for a graduate level student currently enrolled in a Masters Program in Public Health (MPH). As part of the Managed Care team, the intern will achieve proficiency in reviewing Performance Improvement Projects (PIP), conduct data gathering for (State) Annual Report Card, assist with identifying next Focus Study topics and assist with gathering data to create AL and NM procedure documents. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in a variety work experiences that include:
- Conducting a supervised review of a PIP
- Completing different MCO PIP Checklists for the PIP
- Compiling (State) MCO Performance Measure data
- Helping with (State) methodology to calculate rating for each MCO
- Utilizing public data sources to identify (State) opportunities for improvement
- Utilizing (State) HEDIS and Quality Compass data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Providing support with various survey activities
- Assisting with gathering data
