What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tableau Developer position at IPRO?

As part of IPRO’s Data and Analytics team, the Tableau Developer will join a dynamic group of highly skilled analysts and data scientists dedicated to the measurement of quality, efficiency and effectiveness of health care provided to vulnerable beneficiaries and senior adults enrolled in Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) programs and services.
Your regular work will include creating, maintaining, and enhancing data visualizations and business intelligence processes using Tableau. You should have an awareness of the business intelligence landscape, the ability to construct reports, and superior analytical abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive experience in developing and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture
- Proficiency in SQL, relational database management systems, data modelling, and standardization
- Proficiency and experience with at least some of the following required:
- Data management tools (e.g., Matillion, Python)Reporting analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Excel, Power BI)
- Presentation tools (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
- Strong analytic skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, listening and problem-solving skills
- Tableau Certification preferred, but not required
- Experience with health care metrics and analytics preferred, but not required
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related field, required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop for various organizational metrics and indicators; Master’s degree in a related field can count for 1 year of experience.
- Experience with standard analytic and visualization techniques (e.g., trending, benchmark comparisons, data mining, dashboard creation, filters, drill downs, user experience)
- Experience working with large datasets; experience with healthcare data preferred.
The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $85,000.00 – $105,000.00. Actual salary depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location and budget.
