Position Summary:
The Office Coordinator is not your typical administrative role. You will create and operationalize a set of processes and systems that keep our rapidly growing business on track. You will find gaps and fill them, find problems and fix them and bring a disciplined approach that keeps our office humming and allows the IQ Fiber team to perform at its very best.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage operational aspects of the company headquarters building, including 3rd party vendors for landscaping, HVAC, security, utilities and all other key building systems and services
- Manage shipping and receiving of headquarters office shipments, coordinating with construction and operations teams as required.
- Input receiving documents and invoices into accounting system
- Facilitate new employee on-boarding, making their journey from offer acceptance to first day a predictable, efficient and enjoyable process
- Support the planning and execution of company-wide events including quarterly all-hands meetings and other special events
- Manage the provisioning of office and kitchen supplies (warning - we eat a lot of chips!)
- Greet candidates, vendors and customers when they arrive at the office and give them a first-class welcome to IQ Fiber
- Manage other special projects, events and programs as may be required
- Assist other IQ Fiber teams as-needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a self-starter who can work independently and with minimal direction
- Must have energetic, friendly, and collaborative demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional multitasking skills
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years in an administrative or customer-service style function, facilities management experience is a plus
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
