What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Systems Analyst position at IQVIA?
Job Description Summary:
The Business System Analyst's primary role will be to analyze and certify data for all assets as they migrate to the Big Data Lake. This includes providing requirements to the development team, feedback during agile sprints, testing new modules, final QC and certification before final load into production, creation of adhoc and production queries, communication and impact reporting to stakeholders. The Business Systems Analyst must be able to use internal tools and query software and work efficiently to implement data assets into the IQVIA databases.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and 2-5 years related work experience with any BS degree
- Advanced working knowledge of Access, Excel & SQL
- Knowledgeable and proficient in writing and executing SQL queries
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in addition to working well with peers
- Ability to exercise judgment and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Excellent time management skills, ability to manage several projects with overlapping schedules
- Ability to learn new information and quickly build a knowledge base
