What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Content Manager position at IQVIA?
The content marketing manager develops and implements the brand publishing approach required to build digital authority, audience credibility and inbound traffic. This individual achieves this by aligning content creation to support planned campaigns or engagement with one or more service lines and related keyword universes. This role owns the development of an editorial calendar and the creation of related primary and derivative formats to support the publishing frequency required to build inbound traffic and engagement. He or she is often responsible for maintaining one or more blogs as publications that build digital authority. Blog ownership may be all encompassing in smaller organizations (blog, strategy, navigation, etc.). This individual also is often responsible for publishing content to other parts of the Web site and creating content for organic and paid social tactics.
• Contribute to overall content lifecycle management, from creation and editing, through approvals, publishing, auditing, measurement, curation and maintenance
• Support digital content creation including interactive infographics and e-books, podcasts and video scripts.
• Coordinate content organization and promotion through internal communications and systems, including SalesSpot.
• Aggregate and maintain inputs for content strategy and planning, including insights, personas, messaging, competitive information and feedback from content contributors and users
• Coordinating the development of content themselves or through third party resources
• Contribute to SEO and SEM initiatives with keyword optimization, content tagging and metadata management
• Manage, contribute, write and publish content to support inbound content marketing and outbound content programs
• Use audience insights, personas, keyword research, messaging themes, campaign plans, competitive information and content performance analytics to create related content
• Create a steady stream of primary and derivative asset types that can be leveraged across various channels and use cases
• Engage and collaborate with cross-functional participants (portfolio marketing, GBU marketers, EU RBU, marketing operations) as needed to support content sharing, ideation, creation, activation and measurement requirements.
• Manage all content related meetings, resource schedules, workflows and deadlines
• Execute keyword research and define a keyword universe
• Publish and activate content on the web
• Collaborate with marketing portfolio and campaign managers to integrate and repurpose campaign content where appropriate
