Job Overview

The Entities & Compliance Specialist is responsible for filing LLC(s) with the secretary of states, obtaining EIN numbers, and drafting operating agreements. The individual who holds this position will also assist clients in setting up bank accounts for their LLC/Solo 401k. This person will provide IRS compliance assistance regarding prohibited transactions, required IRS forms, among various other questions that arise from clients. They will address client inquiries and concerns via phone, email and chats. The ability to positively interact with IRA Financial Departments and clients is essential. Reports to Entities & Compliance Supervisor.

Responsibilities & Duties

• File LLC(s) with the Secretary of States, obtain EIN numbers, and draft operating agreements
• Assist in setting up bank accounts associated with a client’s LLC or Solo 401k plan
• Create, work and complete tasks in Salesforce
• Provide IRS compliance assistance regarding prohibited transactions, required IRS forms, and address any other request made by clients
• Answer client questions via phone, email, or chat
• Work directly with other departments when necessary to ensure productivity and success
• Provide regular, accurate reports of entities & compliance data to management
• Other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• IRA Experience Preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Exceptional customer service and proven multitasking success
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Critical problem-solving abilities and effective troubleshooting strategies
• Positive and productive interpersonal philosophy
