Description The Imaging Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and directing the daily operations of the Imaging Department, in conjunction with department leadership.
Responsible for coordinating and directing the daily operations of the department, ensuring timely completion of patient exams and efficient patient care.
Responsible for supervising the imaging, ultrasound, mammography and CT modalities within the Mooresville Imaging Center.
Performs all clinical exams in the appropriate modality as needed throughout the day.
Responsible for overseeing the QA/QC requirements within the department.
Assists with scheduling for diagnostic radiology. Requirements Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Registry must be current and updated before the expiration date. Associates Degree required. Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Associated Health Science preferred. 5 years experience as a technologist or in a leadership position. Current CPR/BLS certification. Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians. Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions, prioritize work and complete multiple sequential tasks in a process. Excellent attention to details. Works well under stressful conditions and be able to handle a variety of work situations with frequent interruptions and still meet deadlines. SCHEDULE: MON-FRI. VARY, 7AM-7PM
