Iron Bow is looking for a Principal Security Architect to join the Cybersecurity Practice to accelerate Iron’s Bows Cybersecurity Solutions Development efforts. The Principal Security Architect will have technical responsibility for solution design, solution development, lab services and security services in unclassified and classified environments. The candidate will act as a senior technical SME for the Cybersecurity Practice and the Iron Bow field sales teams. The Principal Security Architect will provide technical leadership and insight into relevant security technologies and solutions supporting Iron Bow’s cybersecurity Go To Market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively research, evaluate and drive security solutions for all Iron Bow Business units (Federal, Civilian, Commercial, SLED, Healthcare)
- Work with key OEM partners to develop and build labs that integrate with key technologies to best represent relevant technology uses cases
- Work with key resources in the lab to develop a governance and documentation process for all cybersecurity labs
- Build and develop key relationships with strategic security partners and stakeholders to evangelize new cybersecurity solutions
- Co-lead strategic security projects and workshops with the Cybersecurity Technical Directors
- Provide extended pre-sales support to the field sales teams for security related engagements
- Assist with RFQs, RFPs and BOMs as needed with sale account teams
- Assist with both high-level and low-level design documentations as needed
- Assist with the development of technical proposals, LOEs, whitepapers and powerpoint presentations for key cybersecurity engagements
- Effectively work in a larger team environment to garner what needs to be done to execute a complex architecture such as SASE, SSE & ZTNA
- Lead and mentor consulting sales engineers who are focused on cybersecurity as a domain
- Present and evangelize technology trends specific to cybersecurity highlighting what these trends mean to Iron Bow customers and the field sales teams
- Proactively engage with the other Domain Practice Directors to better understand where they need help and support
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex cybersecurity solutions into clear and concise material that represents the business value and mission outcome
- Highly experienced technical leader with experience communicating with senior leadership
- Strong working knowledge of key cybersecurity vendors in the SASE & SSE domain
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO, NIST, CIS, CMMC, etc.
- 10 years of IT/cyber security related consulting experience
- 10 years of hands on experience with network security design and implementation
- Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present in front of small/large audiences
- Strong MS Office skills in using and developing documents, technical diagrams, spreadsheets, and presentations are required
- Strong attention to detail, process and procedure required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, electrical engineering, information technology, or equivalent technology required
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of focused engineering/consulting experience across various security technologies for the Federal Government
- Experience in technical architecture design, implementation and project management
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and associated routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Strong experience with Cisco & Palo Alto preferred, but not require
- Strong working knowledge of IPS/IDS/VPN technologies and PKI implementations in Government production environments
- Core experience with Linux, VMware, and Active Directory experience is highly desired
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Master/Professional certifications are highly desired: CCIE Security, CISSP, CISM, GSEC
- Vendor and product certifications are desired: Palo Alto Cisco, Zscaler, Crowdstrike and Okta.
- Top Secret security clearance desired, but not required

- Up to 25% of travel required for this position
