An Insurance Specialist is part of our Personal Lines Production Team. They perform a wide range of duties to support the team and to contribute to the growth of our agency by providing professional service for our clients. The ideal Insurance Specialist will enjoy interacting with our clients through email, phone conversations and welcoming customers in our office. They will provide administrative support to the entire personal lines team and develop lasting relationships both with clients and other team members.
As Insurance Specialis, you will be the first point of contact for our office. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business. You will also coordinate front-desk activities, including distribution of correspondence and redirecting phone calls. To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality and ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
· Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
· Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
· Posting daily deposits for checks.
· Mail distribution and drop off including: USPS, UPS, FEDEX, etc.
· Order office supplies and maintaining inventory.
· Manage office opening and closing procedures
