Ironbrick is looking for a Mulesoft Practice Director to join our Engineering team and be instrumental to Ironbrick’s growth as a Salesforce Partner. As the Practice Director, you will build a high-growth business together with our sales and professional services leadership team for our federal government customers. The ideal candidate will have experience building and developing a team of highly skilled Mulesoft consultants as well as broad experience in account strategy to plan and implement impactful business development initiatives. You will be responsible for account strategy execution and cross-functional collaboration with every area of the organization to grow the business.
Key Responsibilities for Success:
- Build and grow a high performing team of Architects and Lead consultants to implement MuleSoft Solutions for Federal Government Agencies.
- Independently provide strategic vision, yet equally experienced with requirements definition, practical solution design, business cases development and solution implementation for clients.
- Provide guidance on integration, technical and architectural direction, methodology, and design to support MuleSoft projects.
- Contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of Ironbrick’s MuleSoft Practice and Professional Services business.
- Articulate recommendations through compelling presentations and architectural documents to a variety of audiences, including client business management and experienced IT architects. Lead Ironbrick technical consultants through complex, multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on delivery guidance.
- Work with Salesforce, MuleSoft, and IronBrick teams to deliver value to our mutual customers. Leverage IronBrick’s existing relationships, subcontracts, and Customer base to drive successful results for all stakeholders.
- Evangelize the capabilities of IronBrick and MuleSoft solutions to Customers and Prospects. Lead and support business development activities, including identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities.
- Collaborate with MuleSoft for customer presentations and solution design.
- Collaborate with internal leadership team to look for efficiencies and best practices to leverage across the practice.
- Perform role of counselor and coach; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day activities of teams and ensure adherence to standards in project execution, technical delivery, and standards compliance.
- Measure and improve engineering team performance against KPIs and objectives.
- Ownership of the performance evaluation process within the practice and aligning resources with growth opportunities to improve the practice and promote retention.
- 10 years of industry experience within consulting, professional services, or software implementations.
- 5 years’ experience selling and/or delivering professional services for a strategic consulting firm, system integrator or professional services unit within a software company.
- One or more current MuleSoft Certifications (MuleSoft Certified Developer - MCD, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – MCIA, MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect)
- Must be currently a US Citizen and authorized to work in the United States. Any level of Security Clearance preferred.
