HIM Director

Thriving critical access hospital several hours north of Spokane, WA are seeking a full-time, permanent HIM Manager to join their team! Sign-on Bonus and Relocation Bonus! ! Great benefits!

The HIM Team Leader Opportunity:

• Full-time, permanent position

• Day position

• Setting: critical access hospital

• Sign-on Bonus and Relocation assistance provided!

• Leadership role in charge of supervising all activities associated with the HIM department including the integrity of clinical and financial data

• Will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications:

• MUST possess Associate’s or preferably Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or similar field

• MUST possess RHIT or RHIA certification

• AHIMA, HIMSS, or AHDI certifications HIGHLY preferred!

• Must have AT LEAST 1-2 years of HIM experience

• Supervising experience within the HIM department is HIGHLY preferred!

• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, basic medical terminology, payor regulations, and billing is HIGHLY preferred!
