What are the responsibilities and job description for the Master Data Management position at Ironside?
Your Contributions:
The Master Data Management (MDM) consultant:
- Responsible for defining and optimizing the use of enterprise master data, market data and reference data assets by driving improvements to quality, optimizing usage, improving business processes and standardization
- Ensures quality of master data in key systems, as well as, development and documentation processes with other functional data owners to support ongoing maintenance and data integrity
- Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
- Manages the cleansing and correction of erroneous data, data quality monitoring and reporting.
Your Proven Track Record:
- Deep knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining Master Data Management (MDM) in large, complex enterprises
- 2-3 years experience using IBM MDM toolset, other toolsets helpful
- Knowledge of the following is helpful: SOA (Web Services, Message Oriented Middleware, Enterprise Service Bus etc.) principles, processes, architectures, protocols, patterns, and technologies
- Experience in performing data QC, Cleansing and updates
